Another restful day in Goa... this place is just amazing; we don't want to leave. The day started off with another decadent brunch, with Felipe eating his weight in papaya and Ian delighting his palate with Aloo Paratta. We're going to start adding pictures of the food as well, as we believe this will tell a big part of the story.
Ian's Aloo Paratta for breakfast
To make up for the slightly decadent breakfast (Felipe might or might not have eaten 3 croissants, baked beans, sausages and hot chocolate as well), we rented some bikes at the hotel and took them down the beach. Those bikes were NOT designed for speed. We cruised up and down the Varca beach for about 45 minutes and headed back to the hotel. Now it was time for the next challenging activity of the day... the pool. (It's a hard life). We lounged at the pool while Ian read some papers and Felipe... slept.

After several hours lazying by the pool, the next step was the spa. The menu at the Jiva spa was quite extensive, with every possible aromatherapy, oil, wrap, 'warrior massage' on the menu. We opted for a simple 45-minute head/neck/shoulder massage. We then lounged around in the jacuzzi, sauna, chill pool. Ian got to wear the very sexy disposable (insert satirical smirk here) underwear they had... sorry, no pics available. We then headed to the beach, to grab some snacks and prepare for the sunset. Our snacks included a delicious chicken Tikka wrap, aloo bites, samosas.. and of course, KingFisher bear.

Just another picture of the King.... why not
Indulgence. The sunset was coming and we came down to the sand to relax and take more silly pictures. We'll let the pictures tell the story. After the sunset, like great old people we went to bed at around 8:30 pm, falling asleep while watching Animal Planet.

Ian's cartwheel salute to the sun
Finally... our goodbye to the day. The sun is behind Ian's right ear.
Tomorrow we will be heading back to Mumbai, as the first event for Minu and Anoop's wedding will happen tonight. We might or might not see some of Old Goa on our way to the airport... the resort is just too nice!
