So... continuing our journey in Mumbai... we headed over to the Trident Oberoi and its adjacent pier. After some pics at the pier, we tried our luck looking for Minu - and hooray! We found her! It's been such a long time since I saw here... I was so excited to see her. We meet Anoop - boy does he look a bit nervous, and saw Mrinalini's parents :)
So... at this point we should have headed out to the tailor, but we lost track of time and took some picture at the Gate of India and at the Taj hotel... tick tock tick tock
We finally got to the tailor after battling insane traffic - I am very excited for the traditional garment I purchased for the wedding.... Ian tried some pretty amazing stuff... but didn't pull the trigger, hopefully here in Goa he'll find this magical gown. Then... it was 1:45 PM and we had 15 minutes to cover 12 km in early afternoon Mumbai traffic... it was not meant to be. We missed our flight, but quickly were able to rebook on a later Air India flight. Gave us an opportunity to catch up on email, grab a couple of Kingfisher beers and snooze. We finally made it to Goa around 9:30 PM and after 40 minutes through a very winding road, we made it to the beautiful Taj Exotica... 56 acres of luscious gardens. Tomorrow will bring some massages, yoga and beach! We are not planning on leaving the resort :)
Before signing off, wanted to immortalize (on the Internet) our trusted DN, who took us all over Mumbai for 6 hours.
And... the moment of realization when I knew we were not going to make our flight...
